Katie - about 4 months of pictures

Katie snail mailed us a bunch of pictures, so here they are - not necessarily in chronological order. They cover the past 3-4 months.  She wrote the captions.  Hope you enjoy them!

Only the best hobos in Jersey!

As missionaries we thought it appropriate to tag our message on the dirt flaps of a semi. Then nobody has excuses at the last day, for not knowing about the gospel. JK, I obey & honor the law.

This is our model picture w/ our investigator Nicolas! Right after Stake Conference at the beginning of September.

Other model picture - sorry mom & dad make so many good lookin kids.

Seriously some of my favorite people I've met on my mission. Ghibran Zapata on the left, just returned from his mission to Indiana.  Then John by me & Sister Kerr on the other side. I did bunny ears to John but accidentally touched his hair, so he caught on and did it to Ghibran & then S. Kerr caught on & did it to me, so Ghibran did it to the ghost in the room.

This is John! Our favorite less active. He's come back so strong into the gospel. He was less active for 8 years. He's the kindest gentleman I've ever met. Literally he does anything & everything for us & anybody in general.

One of our good friends, Tamina. She's a foreign nanny, from Germany. She was moving to N. Carolina for a different nanny job, so we took a pic w/ her before she left, at FHE.

This was at the mission wide activity in June.  All us Sister came into the mission together & got called to train together. From the left it's S. Martin, S. Daniels (she is oh so funny & we will be companions one day), yours truly, S. LARSEN!  She's in Bayonne now, & S. ... I can't remember her name!  Starts with S.

Reunited and it feels so good.

ELLLIIISSSS.

This is the inside of Ellis Island.  This is the room where people would come in & sign their names & do paper work to enter AMERICA. Crazy cool to be in there when it was empty.

Boat Rides! w/ NY in the background

On my way back after serving on the island. That is indeed a cloud behind my head, not a hat.

Our district minus the Sisters before Elder Jensen left. His companion, E. Comish, on the left of Jensen, is from Vegas and I went to school with him. Small world huh?  Jesus is in our District.

Baptism of my favorite guy ever, Jose Luis Sarabio!

We found buffalo.

Artsy-fartsy pic. The band aid is covering my WART.

This is Hermana Claudia! One of my favorite members. She went on a team up with us, and has the cutest smile ever.

We taught him on a bridge that night. Yes, I do have a bug on my nose, I didn't notice it at the time. This is after his baptism.

This is Leticia & her family! I love them so much. Juancho on the left, then Leticia, her baby Amber (so cute), me, S. Kerr & Abril!

Reallyyyy fuzzy, but this was at the end of last transfer. And the zone leaders came to our district meeting! And our senior couple, the Loertschers.

Me translating sacrament.

Our zone leaders! E. Bell on my right. Tallest man I've ever met. He's from Bountiful. E. Rodeback, he's a cool kid & only one month older than me. Super bold & powerful testimony.

I touched that beaver. And then it chased me.

This is Hermana Zapata. I LOVE THIS WOMAN! She is so hilarious & laughs all the time. She literally looks like a lil' Muchachito in this picture.

La Familia Zapata! From the left: John, H. Zapata, me, S. Kerr, Ghibran y H. Zapata. Seriously one of the funnest nights I've had on my mission.

Elder Jensen! He came back like 2 weeks after he left the mission. Such a surprise! He's a great kid. He was my district leader my first transfer in North Branch Ward.

Doing our laundry on P-day.

My first tortilla I've made ever. This is at the Familia Vasquez house. We made zepas. They are all so good.

This is us on the bike ride being silly

We're missionary babes.     BTW. I feel like I look so old in the pic.
